I am a civil engineer for the Dept. of Transportation in Montgomery, AL. I am volunteer firefighter and lifeguard in the small town where I live. I am a heavy/light (rapier) fighter and a belly dancer in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism--medieval recreation). I love the outdoors and go camping or hiking almost every weekend. I like to travel. I have a few set goals and ambitions but nothing so set in stone that they can't be modified if the situation warrants. I am very honest,caring, loving, outgoing, spontaneous, willing to try new things, and say what is on my mind. My friends are friends for life and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them. I am very close to my extended family.

My ideal partner is a guy who I can talk to, hang out with, and accomplish my goal and ambitions. Someone who is honest, outgoing, and caring but still has his own identity. He should be romantic but not overly clingy (I need a little space to myself occassionally), have a great personality, and a fun, spontaneous side. I want to have some of the same interests so that we can do things together and should be willing to try new things.
