I enjoy springtime in the mountains, fresh flowers by the roadside, sitting on my deck watching the leaves fall and wildlife in full bloom. If "good things" come in small packages, I must have some "good" in me. I am totally at peace spending a quiet evening at home listening to John Denver or riding my Yamaha motorcycle on the Blue Ridge Parkway. As I enter retirement, I plan on spending more time in my woodworking shop and camping in the mountains. After 39 years of marriage I am a recent widower. My friends would say I am hardworking, loyal, sincere, loving, sentimental, and have a good "Seinfeld" sense of humor. I enjoy dining out, soft candlelight, traveling, listening to the rain, and quiet moments with a loved one. My ideal partner is slim, not tall, and enjoys the beauty of nature as much as I do.
