I am on my own now, my daughter is in college. I have raised her, now that she is out and own her own, I can take some time for myself "now". I am a little shy, (until I get to know you). Old fashion, I like to go out and go to the movies, for long drives in the country,biking,hiking or grab a pole and go fishing, (I wish I were better at it) but, I am getting better, at least I don't hold the line and throw the pole in the water and hope the fish reals himself in anymore. LOL I like to sit a snuggle in front of the tv and watch a good movie, or just sit and talk, ( some of the best times start off with just sitting and talking with each other). I an a hopeless romantic, my daughter, the Love of my life, tells me that I was born in the wrong time period, I should have been born in the days of King Author, I would have made a good knight of the round table. I am a gentlemen, I still belive in opening doors, for the"lady", (because all women are ladies or should br treated as such until they prove otherwise)helping the lady off with her coat, walking her to and from the door, even if the date was a bomb. When I was young, my father taught me that women are to be respected and treated as such, I have lived like that my whole life. If you don't like being treated like a lady, then dont waste your time with me, keep on looking. I work a standard 40 hr. week, in 4 days, this gives me time off to do whatever I want want that some one special. Wait!! I forgot there is no special lady in my life right now, (Bummer!!!) I am an old fashion guy, My father taught me that "women are special, and to be treated as such". I am looking for a *lady*, some one who is: honest, caring, loveable, loyal, and has integrity about them. I am not looking for sex, I will not lower myself or the woman for that. There is more to life than that, although, I think that the younger ones put that first. I like to go out, but not by myself, I like for there to be a person there that I can talk to and make laugh. I'm not into the bar secene, I never have been. I like fishing, and just going camping, I like walks along the shore of a lake or even a river, I like movies, going out to eat or just sitting at home snuggled up if frout of the tv with some one special, eating popcorn and some hot coco, or a Pepsi, ( drink of the *younger* generation. Ha ha!!! Hummmm, I had better quit while I'm,ahead.

An honest, huggable, loyal, loveable, sincere and sexy, hummm, sorry about that, I was on a roll and it was rhyming. Some one who likes a man that will meet her over 1/2 way in a friendship, some one who enjoys just sitting and taliking to each other as well as going out. My father once told me that "if" I really wanted a relationship to be a good one then, I should make it a 80/20, give 80 and expect no more than 20 back. Anything over that consider that woman a blessing, and take care of her the best I can. Trust and communication are the big ones in a relationship, I want my partner to know that when she looks into my eyes that she can trust me and feel safe in my arms.
