Physically, I am unusual for my age. At 50, I have the appearance and constitution of a very fit man in his 30's. I have always been health conscious, eat to live, and play sports rather than watch them on TV. In college, I was a nationally-rated sprinter and have not appreciably slowed down (yet). A serious athlete all my life, I continue to play soccer with people, on average, half my age. I offer this information to substantiate seeking a physically active woman to share the second half of my life. . . I am unusually creative, intelligent, hard-working in a humanitarian field, and in receipt of some professional laurels. . . Nothing in my professional life is more important than finding and speaking the truth. Albeit not always right, I am honest (to a fault - literally) and try to learn from my mistakes. A couple of years ago, owing to a life-altering epiphany, I learned to come to terms with my feelings and, in particular, how important it is to express them freely. Parenting my two daughters (now ages 6 & 13) has taught me to be more like them -- demonstrably & unconditionally loving, understanding, outwardly empathetic, and kind. I believe we all have lessons to learn about being human and should make the best of our opportunities to do so. . . I am an entrepreneur in the medical biotechnology field; am working to improve healthcare significantly, yet greatly decrease the outrageous costs; am writing an autobiography; and continue to do some work as an artist with my ex-wife who remains one of my best friends.

I am looking for: 1) an independent woman who respects herself, is self-confident (these are not redundant), and is self-reliant; 2) a thoughtful soul who can be honest with herself, (then) honest with me, and consequentially loyal to US; 3) a kind person who can be tolerant (but not overly so) of my faults and who expects to be treated with kindness, accepting no less; 4) a loyal friend and confidante who wants the same; 5) a friend and role model (not a mother) for my daughters; 6) a sensual and sexual woman who wants to love and be loved, both in the emotional and physical senses of the word; 7) an actively intelligent person who, like me, is excited about learning and sharing knowledge; 8) an individual who would spend much of her time with me, but would also want private time and space; 9) a realist who sees me as I am, not as she wants me to be; and -- most of all -- 10) an equal with whom to share everything, especially wonder, spiritual tranquility, and happiness. . . . This may seem a lot to ask, but I fervently believe everything happens for a reason and that there is probably some value in this experiment to which we have subscribed. . .
