I am a NASA Engineer in Huntsville Alabama who is conservative in some regards and liberal in others, but primarily middle-of-the-road. I started working for NASA as a CO-OP student from Auburn University on December 29, 1969. I am an Aerospace Engineer working for the Solid Rocket Motor Project in the Shuttle Space Program. I do not consider myself either Democrat or Republican since I vote for the person not the party, however, I have voted for the Democratic candidate more often. I am reserved, but being around people who are outgoing makes me less reserved. I enjoy all aspects of community theatre (cast or backstage)and I enjoy singing in the Huntsville Community Chorus. I am of Scot/Irish, German, and Cherokee lineage. A year ago, I shaved off my beard I have had for 25 years, but I kept my mustache. I have two children, a daughter and a son. My son is the young of the two at age 24 and he has 6 hours to complete his bachelor's degree in education. My daughter has CP, is married and lives 50 miles away. She is my late wife's 1st child from her 1st marriage. I adopted her when my wife and I married in 1975. I have worked on maybe half-a-dozen "Habitat For Humanity" home construction projects. I have helped build sets for theatre productions. I have been the 2002/2003 president of the "Huntsville Community Chorus Association". I am also a nightowl (its 2:00 AM in the morning and I am filling out this form).

I would like to meet someone who is kind, caring, loving, outgoing, and who enjoys the Arts(doesn't have to be involved with the arts). Someone who loves life. I like someone who has an opinoin and feels free to express it. I like outward beauty, but inward beauty is more important to me. I would like to meet someone who has some of the same interests that I do but not entirely. I feel that a few differences can cause both of us to grow. I would like to meet someone whose strenghts may be my weakness and vise a versa. I can not father children anymore, so she should have children of her own or does not want/expect to birth children in the future. Also, if she offers advice, she should not nag a person to follow through on her advice.
