I am very easy to get along with. I more times than not, please the people I care for and love. I have strong southern values and know how a lady is to be treated by myself and in my presence. At any rate, it would be quite nice to fall madly in love. I remember how it feels and there is no feeling that comes even near. I am not a religious man, but believe in a higher power who sees we get "OUT", exactly what we put "IN", so long as we go by the rules. I hold very dearly family values, with fair treatment of others, high on my daily list of, "Things to do". I know very well, most of the time, a sentence with only a grain of truth may be carried as fact, and all things that glitter aren't necessarily gold. I know too, people see things quite differently at times but needless argument is a pure waste of time. I know also, one must treat people with respect in order to have respect displayed and will say at risk of sounding like a goof, think this rule applies as well, to all animals of the higher order. I have no major problems in any of these areas', as I have learned most thru trial and error, being most certainly, not the easiest way to learn, but quite permanent and convincing. I like travel, boating, visiting new places in the boat or just dropping anchor and listening to nothing but the waves and the birds. I like most people, meet few strangers, and sincerely find most interesting. I truly enjoy giving, and helping those in need is certainly our duty. I adore children, as I have four of my own and truly love each one. I was married for 28 years and divorced for almost eight. In another 20 years I will have been divorced as long as I was married, which certainly isn't an ideal goal, but could very easily be achieved if one actually has a few standards to be met in the person whom he seeks. I truly believe it isn't good for one to be alone, man or woman, unless one uses profanity habitualy without remorse, struggles with telling the truth on a regular basis, and loves to be the "Almighty Boss", always and forever. In such a case, it may benifit all concerned, one be alone, and may actually save somebody a couple of bucks in the longrun. :) I've tryed dating since the divorce, with undesired results. I feel usually there are little games being played, without my having any knowledge of the rules, because the rules are sorta made up as the game progresses', and changed by someone other than myself at any point in time with my having no clue as to what game is in progress, unless I ask, then, the answer always being, "There is no game in progress". It may have been like that when I first started in my teens, but certainly don't remember that part. It makes me uneasy in my old age, and I fear for my mental health:) At any rate, I will make a new friend, and a new friend is not a bad thing. I fell behind in the dating circuit, but chasing pretty ladies around these clubs trying to get caught up is surly not the answer. I catch way too many, and end up with one ever so often I wish had been a bit more agile in speed, as well as studies. . It's not too awfully hard to add, "one-on-one", when the opposite sex is concerned, if both are healthy, as it most always ends up the same sum, and surly nothing the matter with that, in non-christian circles of course, altho it does require a bit of retention on ones' behalf somewhere, if the intention is maybe keep a decent conversation going occasionaly about something other than , "As The World Turns", or "Let's all go marry a millionare", or " Get naked and Survive". I guess a friend or two couldn't hurt, unless they start asking to borrow sugar. "GIVERS and TAKERS' There are two types of people in this world I'm certain you must know the score. Some give and give and give, without greed, then there are others who simply want more. The Givers know what's going on most of the time, but truly nothing can be done, for after the givers have given more than their share, these takers have not yet begun. They think they're quite bright, these takers, with all the deceit they use, but they aren't so very bright at all, for its very clear after all is defused. One would think after a time, we would know them, and be able to turn them away, but we feel so miserable for them, we let them have their say. They don't really win in the end even then, they are certainly not winners at all, For after these takers have taken all they can take, they have no more givers to call. Michael

I'd like to meet someone with values she truly trys to live by, who is intelligent, sincere, honest, romantic, likes to be loved and not afraid to love, likes dogs, loves little kids, hates argument with a passion and not so very jealous that she becomes miserably ill. It would be nice if she were close, but if she were far away would only be a small problem for two people to solve. THE PASTURE Will you come with me to the pasture, let me show you what I see, such beautiful things are down there, things, just for you and me. We could sit together by the brook, the one that runs so clear, the small one that is there, and lie arm in arm, in the moist, green grass and smell the sweet, fresh air. I could kiss your beautiful eyes, and your lips so soft and sweet, and then feel such pleasure in my heart if our lips and mouths' could meet. Will you come with me to the pasture, where the honeysuckles grow and together share the feeling that only lovers know? We could lie together. I could hold you close and you won't be afraid, for you know inside this love I have, is that which God has made. Please come to the pasture, let's go hand in hand, but forgive me though, that I love you so, for I am but a man. There are such wonderful things in the pasture I'd truly love to see, but I'd enjoy them so much more, if you'd just come with me. Michael
