It's almost time for another long weekend. I can't believe that summer is almost over - with the Labor Day weekend a little over a week away that seems to signal the official end to summer. Kids go back to school, the night air starts to get a chill and of course the days get shorter and shorter. But that shouldn't get in the way of our dating lives. But it always seems to with the start of fall, which will soon be upon us.
With every passing year as hard as I may try I continue to get older and start to reflect on my life as do my circle of friends. Why is it that as a teenager I couldn't wait until I was in my late 20's and could do what I want and when I wanted to? I remember my mother telling me that once you get to that age you'll wish you were a teen again. I thought I knew everything then and now all I wish sometimes is to go back to that age of no responsibility other then homework and passing notes in class.
Although, if I was a teen I never would be on iMatchup and have met the great guy that I am currently dating that I am trying to take one day at a time rather then jump in head and heart first as I normally do. And this time I'm actually enjoying it. That's why I'm glad I am the age that I am.
