It's almost time for that special day that comes once a year. The one where chocolates and hearts and love is in the air - Ground Hog Day of course! I'm kidding - Valentines Day is only 4 weeks away. This is the big day for a lot of couples where engagements are made, first dates are had and of course booming business for the chocolate and flower industries. This year I've noticed that there have been more and more anti-valentines paraphernalia to purchase - from bears to cards to pins. I never celebrated Valentines Day as just a love fest for couples because I was often alone when this day came round' each year. My friends and I would celebrate by going out as a group and enjoying each other's company and toasting our champagne to good life and good friends. Yes, Valentines is for couples and lovers but remember when we were kids and Valentines were about giving out little cards to our classmates and that was exciting. What ever happened to that mentality that it is not just about being 'in love' but having love for your fellow man (and woman of course!)? This year let's start the trend of a New Valentines Day where it is not just for lovers but also for everyone. Send an E-Card to that special Matchup as well as your friends you've made here.
