What's A Girl To Do?
First of all I would like to thank everyone for all of your 'Get Well' emails. Although I must say that I do think I look rather spiffy in my neck ring. I was in quite a flurry of confusion last week after my accident when I called Mr. Playful and after tending to me he whispered to me that he still loved me. That was a shock. I felt so many mixed emotions as this was really unexpected - we hadn't spoken in weeks and I was just beginning a relationship with Mr. New Year's Eve.
For a moment, yes it made me smile to realize that two men were interested in me and I imaged these fights like out of a scene in a movie but I think that was just the medication. Mr. Playful was the person that I thought was the one. But then all that changed because of my own actions - speaking when I should have listened. Now it is I who must do the speaking to Mr. New Year's Eve, as he was hurt that I did not call him when I was on the way to the hospital. It just seems that no matter the explanation it would never be the right one. I hurt him and lost his trust. Now I have to decide where my heart wants to follow.
