Everywhere you turn this month you are reminded of dating and love and happiness. This can be either one of the most exhilarating times for you and your partner or can be one of the loneliest for those that are single. This doesn't have to be a lonely time for singles or for those already matched up!
Life is what you make it. Does getting a box of chocolates or some flowers on a predetermined day make everything better? My first answer to this is a 'NO!', however it is always nice to receive something from somebody. Don't let yourself get left out in the fun of Valentines just because you're single. There are so many things that singles can do from group dates to parties to just reveling in the fact that you get to save some money by not having to spend money on often marked up candy. Hand out Valentine's cards as you did when you were a kid - they're an inexpensive and fun way to have fun with friends and co-workers. Have fun and smile remember it's just another day.
Mr. New Years and I have been messaging more and more in the last two weeks. Seems absence has made the heart grow fonder for both of us. We are planning on going on a date this weekend - to a museum and then off to dinner. Cupid has definitely been busy this week.
