Holiday Madness
The holiday season seems to bring out a joy in everyone... of course except in the parking lots of the shopping centers for that spot close to the door. It is a beautiful time of year and we just had a big snowfall this past weekend, which has definitely kicked me into the holiday spirit. For some reason even though it only gets colder snow makes me seem to be all right with the cold and freezing weather that winter brings. Lucky for me it was a snow day at home last Friday where I spent most of my day actually playing outside in the snow with my dog. I even made a few snow angels.
And the best part was that Mr. John Deere as I like to call my boyfriend came over and brought over some hot chocolate for me. We sat there curled up next to a lovely fire in a box on the television drinking hot chocolate when the conversation turned to Christmas gifts and limits of what we would spend. I on the one hand love giving gifts and don't like limits he on the other hand wants to limit the gift prices so this turned into a bit of a disagreement. I don't want to go overboard as we are just a 'new' couple but I also don't want to be limited because for me it's about the giving not the getting. To get around it I have agreed to a set limit and the rest are going to be given from the dog!
