Halloween's Coming
My favorite day of the year is just around the corner - Halloween! I am very excited as my friends and I from iMatchup are holding another Halloween Bash! Yes, group-dating events really do work. (Check out Dating Etiquette below for how to plan your own group event!). This year we are going to mix it up a little bit more than usual and I've managed to get my single co-workers to join in on the fun. Hopefully, it will be an exciting night!
I have even managed to set up a few dates between by iMatchup and non-online friends so that they'll feel more comfortable at the party. The best part about Halloween is that even if you are shy you can don a mask or costume and feel comfortable enough to be who you really are when you first meet someone. It's almost like Cinderella going to the ball or Clark Kent being Superman. Sometimes we just feel more confident when meeting new people when we're in a costume. Halloween seems to be the one night of the year that it's accepted and even encouraged to go back to the feeling you had as a child - when dressing up and playing make believe were part of your everyday life.
