Letting Go
Why is it that when you are not interested in someone any longer that you just can't say it to him or her? Sure, we all want to avoid other people getting hurt or upset but is it really about the other person? Or, is it really about our own self? I know from my own experience that I seem to hang in there and hope for the best that things will get better when things start to go at the end of a relationship. Even after a relationship ends I think that there is still a part of us that looks at all the good times and fun that we have with our ex and for some reason we never really think of all the bad times.
I think that one of the worst things that you do to yourself is to continue to have intimate contact with the person that you are broken up with. By intimate I don't just mean sex although there is that aspect but there is also the closeness and companionship you have with that person. This is where the mixed signals start to occur from getting together to remain 'friends' and ending up staying over to turning into an almost stalker where all you think about is them and how you can meet up with them by 'chance'. When what we really need to do is distance ourselves from the 'ex' until we can manage to be around them without wanting to be with them.
How do you get over an ex? Do you ever really get over an ex or will they always be part of your heart? Send your thoughts to the LoveVixen@iMatchup.com
