Something New
My Easter weekend group date was a success! I was a little apprehensive going in wondering who my mother had invited as she wanted to set me up with someone she felt was good for me. It turns out that my mom invited people that I had been talking to on iMatchup - we knew the same people and didn't even know it!
One person in particular caught my attention and throughout the day we got to know one another better. It was only at the end of the day that I found out my mother had invited him as he was a little shy but had always wanted to talk to me as he felt we had a lot in common. We are planning to go on a date this week. The Easter Bunny may not have brought me this special person but I am thankful that my mom did.
I have never gone out with somebody that is shy and I am realizing that I have to be patient in getting to know this man better. I am very outgoing once I meet someone and always seem to go for the guy that has the same type of personality. This time it's different but I feel that it will be worth it!
What type of personality do you have? Do you date people with the same kind of personality? Send your thoughts to the LoveVixen@iMatchup.com

| Still Not Getting the Responses You Want?
You've written your profile posted a photo and still haven't heard from your ideal match? Take some time and make sure your profile has what it takes to get the attention you deserve. Here are the 4 key points of a successful profile!
Make changes if you aren't getting the right responses. It's alright practice makes perfect.
Post Your Photo! - Profiles with photos get noticed! It sounds silly but humans are visual people. We associate a name with a photo or image of that person. The more you express of yourself in your photos the more someone will be drawn to your personality. Change your photos often and make sure they are clear, recent and fun.
Write a Profile if you haven't yet already.
Write a real email. - Although flirts like "You've got my attention" or "Let's Chat" are great conversation starters, it is always best to follow up a "Flirt" with a personal email. This shows members you took the time to care enough to write them an actual note, unlike many members who only send "Flirts". You will stand out!
