Spring is definitely just around the corner and I can't wait. As much as I love winter and how everything looks so beautiful when the snow falls I am really looking forward to shedding some of these bulky warm clothes and enjoying the spring air and all that comes along with it. Life certainly is full of cycles, as I have said many times before.
This week has been a flurry of activity for me as I am trying to catch up on work, friends and life while I was laid up with my very attractive whiplash collar. After deciding to take some time for myself and get to know 'me' better I have made a lot of changes in simple things that relieve a little stress. First and foremost I now take time for myself and don't commit to things that I would normally go to only to appease others. I no longer feel guilty for not making all events that my friends may have. This is an absolute indulgence that everyone should do. Life goes by so quickly that you often don't get time for yourself. I challenge you to take at least 2 hours a week for yourself - where all you think about is you and relax. Doing something even as simple as reading a magazine, playing some video games or just taking a bath instead of a shower when you have a moment.
