Turkey Time
With everything that is going wrong with the country today from the war to economy it is a wonder that each year on this day that everyone seems to put that all aside and give thanks to what we have. My friends and I who are unable to go home for Thanksgiving are all getting together to make a wonderful meal and have a great night. We are not just going to watch the parades and football and have a few drinks and laughs...this year we are taking the time out to discuss what each person has brought into our lives and why we are thankful for that.
So often we forget to tell the people that surround us with their friendship, love and support that we appreciate them and what they have brought into our lives. I challenge you this Holiday weekend to reach out to your circle of friends and family and let them know what they mean to you.
