Dear Rosie, I find it interesting that women nowadays are falling more and more into what I call the "Demi Moore Syndrome". What is more curious is at what age this is happening. I have found that it usually hits around the "Forties". At least in my circle of acquaintances it does. I have yet to find a man in his 20s & 30s who wants to go and have a relationship with his mother or a woman that is their age regardless how "hot" she is. I have routinely asked the guys that I play sports with or at the sports bar what they think. I get the same answer. I would like your input on this. Sincerely, Not a BoyToy A. Dear Not a BoyToy, I hate to break it to you but the age gap where older women date younger men has been around for quite sometime although it may seem to be more frequent because it is now more acceptable for this to happen. Think of Mrs.Robinson from the Graduate. For generations, an older man has been able to fall for, date, marry and even leave their older, current wife for. Yet if a woman did the same thing previously it was looked down upon. It seems to be a new era for women in the world of dating and they are being more open about it. With time comes acceptance and our times are certainly changing. Age is just a number. Regardless of whether it is an older man or an older woman in the relationship it is not always about wanting a younger partner - even though it may start that way. It is about a connection that you make with another person. A connection that makes the butterflies in your stomach flutter when you think of them and if you limit yourself by age than you are limiting your possibilities at happiness.
