Valentines Date Ideas |
| We all know that Valentines Day is February 14, yet so many of us wait until the last minute to plan something if anything for our partners. I have compiled a great list of inexpensive date ideas so you can have a special day whether you've been together forever or just began dating: Make A Card - Get out your construction paper and glitter and glue and make your partner a card. There is nothing more special then something made just for you by someone who cares for you. Those are the cards that seem to stay around forever. Heart Shaped Baking - If you can make cookies, cakes or even chocolates yourself then that is a fun and special way to have fun. You can even do it together! If you're not handy in the kitchen or just don't have the time pick up some heart shaped cookies at your local grocers. Always pick the box shaped like a heart. Smile - One surefire way not to be approached by a person is to have a stone face, which means not showing any expression on your face. Wherever you are forget about all your stresses and put a smile on. Someone is bound to smile back. Even if you don't meet someone that day you will at least have put a smile on someone else's face because of it. Romantic Dinner - Dress in your best and let your partner know in advance to wear something special. Next, set the mood - candles, music, and your favorite beverage and of course dress up. Even if you're only having peanut butter and jelly sandwiches it will be a night to remember when you're dressed to the nines. Movie Time - Forget heading to the theater where you sit in chairs separated by that awful armrest, head to your local video store and pick the movie your partner would want to see (even if it's not that romantic comedy). It's the thought that counts - you thought of them. Rosie, The Love Vixen |
