So many people in this world including myself are able to express their emotions, thoughts and desires easier on paper or rather the keyboard then out loud. So don't be surprised when you meet the chatterbox in person if they are shy at first... face-to-face contact can be a little scary to some. Romantic: Even though you may think we are the quiet bookworm or the uptight boss at work it is not so in our love lives. We write what's in our hearts and as you get to know us we will show you what's there too…from poems, to songs, to a simple candlelight picnic in the living room. Just because I may be too shy to tell a man how beautiful his eyes are in person doesn't stop me from sharing that and much more with him in a chat room. Closet Extroverts: That's right - once you get to know a shy person on line you will wonder how you could ever think that we are shy. We love attention as much if not more than you 'non-shyer's' but it takes some time for us to allow you to discover that side of our personality. Just wait... it will happen. Why do you think the chat rooms are always full? Best Friends and Lovers: Yes...you read correctly. We have it all! I don't want to discount anyone else but we are attentive to the emotional and physical needs of our friends and partners. How do you think stereotype of the "naughty librarian" started? We are not intimidated online: We are able to say what we want, when we want even if it is that cheesy pickup line to tell you how pretty you are. No Embarrassment: With the option of not being able to see someone at all times through the computer we can say what we want without having to feel as though someone is judging us... while we are in our pajamas. Eye Contact: As much as we want to look dreamily into your eyes while reciting the most recent sonnet written it is difficult to do that. Without having to constantly look away and avoiding direct eye contact we can focus on what matters... the conversation at hand. Good Listeners: We have a lot of experience listening from years of study while sitting in big crowds trying not to be noticed and listening to everyone else talk while we are 'taking it all in'. Non-Judgmental: We don't judge a book by its cover it happens so much to us while we are too busy listening.
