| It’s not just one of those internet rumors that hear about from your mom’s friends neighbors email, people do actually fall in love over the internet and we have PROOF that it has happened right here on iMatchup. My husband, Jerry, and I met here on iMatchup in April, 2003. His ad had nothing in it but age, gender and location (2 hours south of where I live)- but for some reason I felt I needed to contact him. We chatted and our friendship grew and in August 2003 he finally came north and we met in person. It was just the final piece for us both- we had, unbelievably, fallen in love online without ever having seen each other! Our relationship just exploded and he asked me to marry him the third weekend he came north. He finally moved up for good on Thanksgiving Day, 2003 and we were married in a small and simple ceremony on December 19. He is still just as exciting to me today as he was the first time we met and we have both never been happier.
